Sharvani Ram

Hey there! I'm Sharvani and DHNUS' President! I am currently in U3 studying Concurrent Food Science and Nutritional Science.
My favourite condiment is ketchup! 🍅Ketchup is perfect on eggs 🥚 and fries🍟,but it is also my favourite secret ingredient for many sauces and marinades. It was once believed that ketchup had medicinal properties. Well, that is all for my favourite condiment - I have to ketchup on work now 😉

Andrea Zhang

Hey guys! My name is Andrea Zhang. I am in U3 concurrent now. I am VP finance of DHNUS this year!
My favorite condiment is sriracha! It’s generally good with anything. I love its spicy flavor! Not too spicy that will make your mouth burn 🥵 but it will make you addicted. If you add it to the scrambled egg and stuff it in the 🥯 , it will make your breakfast so special!

Patricia Kamara

Heya! I am Patricia (Trish) and I am VP Internal for the 2021-2022 school year. I am in U3 of the concurrent program.
My favourite condiment is obviously sweet and sour sauce. Growing up, I was a picky eater but quickly my mom learnt that if she dumped a bunch of sweet and sour sauce on any meal I would finish it in a flash. Her best hits included day-old rice 🍚 with sweet and sour sauce, and eggplant 🍆 with sweet and sour sauce. Needless to say, I’m still putting it in everything.
Remember to say sweet when life is sour ;) 😉

Hey! I am Missy! I am the VP Public Relations for this year. I will be graduating in August next year.😀
I am holding my favorite condiment OYSTER SAUCE! 🦪 I cook with oyster sauce for many dishes. It is an easy way to build up the salty and umami taste.🥘

Ririka Saito

Hi☺︎ I’m Ririka and am DHNUS secretory for the 2021-2022 school year!!
I am U0/ U1 at McGill studying concurrent food science and nutritional science 🥨
Out of hundreds of thousands of delicious food eaten so far, my favorite combination of condiments is MISO and Japanese Mayonnaise!!! I am obsessed with eating carrot🥕 & cucumber🥒 sticks with miso-mayonnaise dip :))) It’s super easy and tastes the BEST!!!
Whenever you feel lazy to cook but still want to stay healthy, try eating fresh veggies with miso-mayonnaise dip💗

Charlotte Chan

Hi! It’s Charlotte Chan — your U1 DHNUS representative 🤩😎 I’m so hyped for this year, and am ready to make our cohort’s experience the best it can be!!
I transferred all the way from Ontario’s McMaster University to enroll in McGill’s Nutrition Major. I’m super passionate about metabolism, but might just be even more excited by cocoa powder — the most fantastic condiment out there 🙌🏻 From glamorizing the last 3.5 years of daily oatmeal, to mixing into hot vanilla almond milk🥛, sprinkling into plain yogurt, eating with frozen fruit, or being baked into literally everything and anything, cocoa powder has my heart.
For voluptuous pics of chocolate, pb, & ☕️coffee oatmeal, follow my main @_char._.chan_ !!! Don’t ever hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, ideas you’d like to see implemented, or just to say hi :)

Fatim Zahra Zaki

Hey! My name is Fatim and I am the DHUNS U3 Representative for the year 2021-2022 ! I am currently in U3 in Nutritional Sciences and my favorite condiment is mustard !
😀In fact, My love for mustard is so great that it can only be expressed in poetry :
“Mustard goes with many things,
Try it for yourself and see.
Maybe on some spicy hot wings,
Or some fancy french puree.
Mustard in the morning,
mustard noon and night.
On your eggs while your'e still yawning,
Any time it's a delight”

Cloe Gosselin

Hi! My name is Cloé Gosselin and I am one of the Event Coordinators this year for DHNUS!! I am a U2 dietetics student who forgot how hard in person school can be!😅
My favorite condiment has to be sriracha because who doesn’t love a little spice in their life. 🌶I can't remember when I discovered sriracha but I put it on almost anything now… sometimes a little too much.
😊I am so excited to be a part of DHNUS this year and can’t wait to meet new people and start moving past this year of zoom!

yasmin.jpg

Yasmin Shalehchi

Hi everyone!! My name is Yasmin and I am one of this year’s events committee members. I’m a U2 Dietetics student and a big foodie.
Of all the choices of condiments, one of my favourites would have to be honey 🍯 because when you have a sweet tooth like I do, it really comes in handy. My personal favourite is a close tie between honey drizzled on top of my yogurt parfait or the classic honey butter toast. 🍞
I am so excited for the upcoming events and to see you all there!!

Bingjie Hong

I am a U2 nutrition student and this is my second year in DHNUS! Fortunately, the epidemic is under control this year and I am looking forward to meeting all of you in person!  🥳🥳
My favorite condiment is sesame oil. Sesame oil has a strong and unique fragrance and it is a great seasoning oil. It is also rich in Vitamin A and Vitamin E, which makes it good for our skin and hair. The monounsaturated fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids in sesame oil can be easily absorbed and utilized by the human body, which can promote cholesterol metabolism and prevent cardiovascular diseases. 👍

vic.jpg

Victoire Brocart

Hi! I’ve had balsamic vinegar pretty much all my life, my family uses it mostly in salad dressings🥗, but it goes super well in sauces, toast, as a glaze for strawberries, carrots or brussels sprouts(!) 🍓🥕
I’m in my second year of nutrition, and I’m one of the event coordinators so if you have any recommendations or events that you would want to see happen, send me a text and we’ll try to make it happen! 😃

luiza.jpg

Luiza Antunes

Hey there! My name is Luiza and I am part of the events committee for DHNUS, I am also in my second year in Nutrition-health and disease program.
Soy sauce is 100% my favourite condiment. I add it to everything, from rice to kale. 🍚🥬I just personally think soy sauce can elevate any food.
Also, because I add it to everything a little nutritional advice I have is to try to find an alternative with lower sodium, would recommend trying out liquid soy seasoning!

jackie.jpg

Jackie Alford

Hello! My name is Jackie, and I am a U0 student in the Nutrition and Food Science concurrent degree program. I am on the events committee, and my favorite condiment is hummus!
Hummus has always been one of my favorite foods and is a really easy and convenient nutrient-dense snack. As a kid, we always made hummus from scratch, adding in tahini, extra-virgin olive oil, garlic, and lemon, and I put it on literally everything, including salads, chips, and vegetables. 🥗🫑Chocolate hummus with fruit is one of my favorite desserts too!

Maya Nehme

Hi! My name is Maya, I am a U2/3 Dietetics student, and I am part of the events committee😊
If I can choose one condiment to put on any food, it would definitely be olive oil. 🫒
Growing up in a Lebanese household, I can guarantee you that I had olive oil in every meal...Bland salad? Olive oil. Eggs? Olive oil. Hummus? Olive oil. Bread? Olive oil. Bad day? Olive oil. It’s a solution to *almost* anything.

chris.jpg

Chris Yu

My name is Chris, a busy U2 dietetics student. This is my third year at McGill University and now I am a new event committee in DHNUS!
I love cooking and eating many delicious foods, but Nutella is my favourite. 🍫Chocolate is the thing that can always cheer me up from the overwhelming school work and any unpleasant stuff that is constantly happening to me, so I love it in any form!🍪🍩
